What Is/Is Not is a biscriptual poster in English and Arabic that plays with the concept of what is and is not “hidden.” The design focuses on duality and contrast—two colours and two scripts complement each other and complete the design. The centre shape partially obscures the main text in Arabic, but the text’s inverted colours highlight the meaning—illuminating what is hidden. The English text around the border can be read
