The strange case of dr. jekyll and mr. hyde - book cover design
Book cover redesign of Robert Louis Stevenson's The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. The goal was to create an eye-catching cover using only graphic elements and typography.
The red and green color palette was chosen not only for its contrasting and complementary effect, but also because it captures a dark mood and reflects some elements in the story. The type lockup was a mix of bold sans serif and elegant italicized serif to capture division and portray a sense of struggle, staying in line with the visual keywords: Division, Contrast, and Raw
